About Sprodeta

Small Producers Development and Transporters Association (SPRODETA) is A LOCAL Non-Governmental Organization involved in livelihood initiatives and targeting the rural marginalised households. It was established in 2009 and registered in 2012 by the Government of Malawi under the Trustee Incorporation Act (CAP .5.03).

Our Missionn

Our mission is to enable small producers come together and carry out inclusive and sustainable development initiatives

Our Vision

Our vision is to have food secure, resilient and economically viable small producers.

SPRODETA is a member of the NGO Board, Farmers Union of Malawi (FUM), Council for Non-Governmental Organization in Malawi (CONGOMA) and district non-governmental organization forum in each district where the organisation operates.

According to the strategic plan (2019-2023), SPRODETA has identified five Key Result Areas where we intend to bring impact.

Source of funding

SPRODETA sources funding for implementation of its programs and activities from development partners (local and international) and well-wishers. Since it started its operations major development partners have been the following
