On 3rd November, a meeting was held with the local chiefs to sensitize them on the project enhancing the livelihoods of young single mothers through economic empowerment and nutrition education amidst COVID-19 pandemic and HIV/AIDS, funded by Canada Funds for Local Initiatives, where they were told the project goal, objectives and activities. It went on well as everyone understood the concept and welcomed the project in their communities and also were willing to participate in every aspect of the project. An action plan was made and the local chiefs would orient the project to the village heads together with their community members. From there, beneficiaries will be selected and will be verified by the SPRODETA staff.
