Veronica Ndabandaba is another rights holder from Chamaji Project Site in Mzimba District belonging to Chipulikano Farmers Group.
After pocketing MK17, 300.00, Veronica used MK15, 000.00 to procure a pig, which she says will help her in the long run to build her livestock base as a source of income. The remaining MK2, 300.00 was used to meet basic needs. According to Veronica: “I am very happy to be part of Chipulikano Incubator, through the proceeds from the incubator, my social status has now increased since I now own a productive asset which is a pig. Since our group has decided to re-invest the remaining money in buying extra kits, I am hopeful that when we plant tomatoes again, I will have more money than I have pocketed and I will buy more pigs for my economic sustainability.”
